Jose P. Laurel Memorial Library
The Jose P. Laurel Memorial Library is situated on A. Mabini Avenue in Tanauan City, Batangas. It was built in 1880, and the ancestral house was restored by Jose P. Laurel’s son, Mariano and daughter-in-law, Alicia on March 9, 1964 and it was a private property of the Laurel. The houses of Jose P. Laurel’s memorabilia, the two-story house has a ground floor of stone and an upper level of wood with wooden posts, capiz sliding shell window and a floor of brightly polished wooden planks. The personal belongings and effects of late president was housed here, and this ancestral house has been designated as a historical site and a public library of Jose P. Laurel.
